The Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE) facilitates continuous improvement and data-informed decision-making via a broad array of rigorous assessment and reporting activities.

- Academic Program Review (APR)
APR is a required process for academic programs at Adler University and is designed to be an opportunity to self-assess and continuously improve various aspects of the program and its effectiveness in attaining its goals.
- Accreditation support
OIE supports academic programs in their efforts to acquire and maintain accreditation by providing data necessary to meet accreditor requirements. This includes annual reporting and comprehensive self-studies.
- Course evaluations
Students are asked to complete a course evaluation at the middle and end of every term for each standard course in which they are enrolled. Links are provided within Canvas courses and via email two weeks before the course end date and are available through 5 business days following the term end date.
- Institutional research and enrollment reporting
OIE produces a series of periodic and ad hoc reports that provide academic and university leadership with important data that inform decision-making for institutional effectiveness.
- Student Learning Outcomes Assessment Program (SLOAP)
Assessment of student learning outcomes is a critical measure of institutional effectiveness. Adler University employs the Student Learning Outcomes Assessment Program (SLOAP) as a framework to collect, analyze, and report on data pertaining to student learning each year.
- Survey administration and data analyses (Qualtrics)
OIE administers various institutional surveys including. We also oversee the institutional license for Qualtrics, which can be used by students, faculty, and staff to build and administer surveys.
